About the TournamentFull Schedule

We are excited to once again host the 6th annual Texas Tamale Co. Houston Cup presented by PropelDocs. This tournament will bring together 100 tennis players from around the world that are ranked between 250 and 800 in the ATP Rankings. This event will showcase up and coming American Juniors and many current and former collegiate tennis players. It takes place at the George R. Brown Tennis Center at Rice University. This state of the art facility is home to the nationally ranked Rice University Men’s and Women’s Tennis Teams and it is one of the most fan friendly tennis centers in the country.

We are partnering with the Houston Tennis Association, to raise funds for the National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) Foundation. This program offers a chance for thousands of kids the opportunity to participate in tennis related activities free of charge. Every year we host a few community related events throughout the week. We will host three Pro-Ams, a kids (14-18),  ladies, and gentlemen, where tennis fans will get to play doubles with the tournament competitors in a fun, relaxed and competitive atmosphere. We will also host a NJTL Kids’ Day on Wednesday October, 10th. In this special event, we hold a tennis clinic for these kids and enjoy an afternoon of tennis and fun. All of these events will feature tournament participants which make them even more special for all those involved.
